the idea it to swap just the 7mgte out of the red supra and put it with the 5 speed tranny and into the white 89 supra.
while its out ill be replscing the stock HG for an HKS MHG, and also ARP head studs. im also looking into some other things but we will get to that later...
now lets look at the cars.
first up is the 89 N/A with a 5 speed tranny. about 162,xxx miles. nice exterior, a little rust. nothing to bad. when i got it the interior was gross. there was mold growing in the back and the maroon leather was dirty ans dry. starting to crack and lose its color.

some 5 spoke mk3 turbo rims and some window tine and well be good
stock N/A with rid knock... got to drive it about 4 1/2 weeks and it just got worst and worse... the guy that had the car befor me drove it around with no oil... i think its just a spun bearing... ill know when i take it apart and check it out.
and now it the 88 turbo supra. its also a targa top. but its an auto. i got this one first and realized it needed way too much money to fix the body. but the motor ran good and there wasnt any play in the turbo. and for $450 i couldnt go wrong. so i got it back to my house and started looking for another mk3. thats when i found the white 89.
for some reason i lke the open grill and side mirrors of the 88
i do like that the lights dont go all the way across the back.
but i dont like the style
mold
plastics all still good. but anything cloth is getting thrown away
she dirty and need some TLC but shes got big potential
