I am eventually dropping the Escort GT 1.8 DOHC and a G25M-R MTX in there with a 75HP shot of juice. But until finances are right, I will be satisfied with the 0 mile SOHC 1.6 crate engine. I have to repaint the cam cover as I scratched the crap out of it when I installed the engine. I used a different Cold air setup than what was originally intended, but it will be changed as soon as I have a new intake pipe made. I am also considering a hood mod, But I've got my hands full right now with the new interior.Original B3 EngineBrand New B6Homemade adapterK&N Filter InstalledNew B6 All Painted upAll installed and ready to go.

Good luck with the car Jim, its good to see techno again. Techno and its previous owner were an inspiration to us all. Im glad it has a worthy caretaker. Freshtiva

Hey, nice car. I was looking into a Festiva so I can retire my beater to the back of the garage. Are the stock 1.3L engines reliable or would I be better off for the 1.6L swap as you have done? Just thought I'd ask the owners of these cars. I figure you all could fill me in on the specifics.
