My quest to own a Pantera finally came to fruition. I rescued this neglected, non running (and non stopping), '71 in Utah. SN 1488 maks it the 488th Pantera built and 202nd from the first one imported to the US, though not all of the 202 came here.
Getting a non-running car with no brakes shipped to Florida took about a month. This makes my 4th red two-seater, of which I currently still have 3. My wife nicknamed the car Cherri because it looks the color looks like a Cherry, but looks red in the bright Florida sun.
My son already has created pages for the other two cars, the Type R VTEC Del Sol he inherited from me http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2509610 and my daily driver, a Stage 3 Stillen 350Z http://www.cardomain.com/ride/854345. The Bimmer is my wife's.

Treads are massive on these tires! Engine bay is getting cleaned up. Being a Utah car, I'm thankful that the prior owner put several layers of undercoating everywhere, which frankly is a major pain to remove.

First things first, I had to replace the carb and add an MSD ignition to get it running right.
The following pages will show my progress as I rebuild her. I don't get near enough time to work on the car, but I'm in no hurry. It can't get any more a classic than it is.
