What we have here is my 79 d-150 project. I've been working on it for almost five years now and I'm thrilled that it's almost done. Who am I kidding they're never done.
It was just painted on 5/22/09.
Here is what it looked like the day I bought it. 
As you can see she was a little rough, but for $400 I couldn't pass it up. I've always thought these to be one of the best looking trucks made when done properly. Originally it was just going to be a 318 daily driver, but as you can see, I took it a step further than that.
I sandblasted the bed and found a lot of surprises so some small patches were necessary.

It's a lot of work, but I highly recommend these patch panels to anyone who has one of these trucks with the usual wheel well rust. Rust free beds are impossible to find and the small patch panels don't have the proper curves/bulges above the wheel wells like these do.
