Well, here it is!
It's My 1997 VeeDub Golf! Nice, huh? It has a 2.0L 8V engine, fully equipped with a Stage III Turbo w/intercooler, Stage III clutch, & flywheel, short-shift gearbox, exhaust, and of course nitrous provided by NX! I also started doing some weight reduction and visual upgrades, too!
Here is a quick list of the mods performed on my car:
Stage III Turbonetics T3 Turbo Kit for 2.0L 8V
T3 Turbo (Pushes 20 Lbs.), turbo manifold, downpipe with flex, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, front-mount intercooler, chrome piping to intercooler, silicone hoses, GReddy blow off valve, boost gauge.
Stage III Clutch Master clutch assembly
Clutchnet performance clutch (dual-fiber dual friction stage 3 clutch for 2.0L 8V), replaced clutch pressure plate(disc), replaced arm bushings w/poly., lightened & balanced flywheel (removed & resurfaced), euro sport short shifter.
Custom cat-back 3" exhaust system
(stainless steel), high flo muffler, 4" exhaust tip (stainless steel).
Misc: ABT mesh grille, Hella Mk 4 conversion headlights, 1 set of black A3 GTI Recaro leather seats (front & back), Lupo "GTI" shift knob & boot Falken ZE-502 tires @ 205 40Z/R17, Brembo slotted & cross-drilled sport rotors, Hella smoke tail lights (I wasn't feelin' the altezzas), and a midwing. Damn!
