My very first truck. A 1984 Toyota Pickup.
Paint: Anti-freeze green
Engine: High performance 22r with a High torque RV cam, port and polished head, and high compression pistons
Exhaust: Hooker header with 3in piping with a cherry bomb muffler.
Other: Lime green neon under glow (pulled over many times)
When I first bought the truck it had been used as a cougar hunting truck. It had bullet holes all over it and a nice rattle can paint job. The motor had 300 thousand something miles on it. I LOVED it.
My first project...painting.
With bullet holes and dents all over the place it was a very good way to learn about body work.
Right after shooting the paint.

Next I needed to turn to the motor.
3 A.M. old tired 22r finally out of the truck.
The pride and joy of the truck. A remanufactured 22r. It sported a High torque RV cam, Port and polished head, high compression pistons, hooker header. For only being a four popper this thing hauled balls. (again pulled over a few times)

Sadly with less than 3000 miles on the new motor a brass fitting from the air cleaner adapter vibrated loose and fell into the intake causing the number four cylinder to explode. Then the rod pin slammed into the cylinder wall and got stuck causing a golf ball sized hole to form in the block siezing the motor up. Thus brings the end to a very old friend.
