1995 Mazda Miata - 1.8 Liter 5 Speed

Purchase Price: $1900.00 (Close enough to the elusive 1500.00 Miata :-))

Items Fixed:

- Tune up (plugs/wires, oil change, trans/diff fluid. rad. flush, a/c recharge. air/fuel filter, new belts, timing belt, water pump, tie rods)

- Flushed injectors with pressurized B12 through the fuel rail, made a huge difference

- New tires

- Had to replace the console radio/ac trim, instrument panel cowl, various plastic clips

- Removed what looked to be a bull dog anti-start remote alarm...very poor wiring, replaced it with an extra Hornet remote keyless job

- New power antenna

Items on the "To-Do":

- Brakes

- Shocks

- Recover seats

- Clean or replace carpet

- Fix driver's door panel (vinyl over fiber glass patch?)

- Replace trunk carpet (all kinds of mold)

- Clean fuel bleed valve, I am getting the nasty fuel smell in the cab

- Replace blower motor resistor (AC is a bit touchy)

- Recover steering wheel

- Give it a new coat of paint, maybe put a body kit on?
