May 23, 2009 - The Beginning
As of 5/23/2009, I am the new owner of a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro. Now this is going to be a real project car! Although there is one small problem. I am in Idaho for college and the car is in Minnesota. So while I am here, my Dad is going to start working on the rust problem and hopefully get it prepped for painting. So enjoy what is here!
The engine is a swapped 5.7L V8 with Edelbrook valve covers, 4 barrel carb, an air scoop, and thats all I know for right now. This is about the only thing working in the car.
As you can see, it is going to need quite a lot of work! The plan is to either fix the rust or do a 1970's conversion, which ever is the cheeper. First the exterior, then fix the interior, and finally the engine.
