"No fate, but what we make for ourselves!"
Her name is Bessie, and she welcomes you to her page!
I hope you enjoy the progression, of my little red wagon!:)
She's clean, polished, and straight as an arrow.
This is my first ride, and I am very happy with her! Usualy on the '80 Corollas theres a double light package, I think this is a much more meaner and agressive look, especially with the debaged grill, SICK!!
Next to my Bro's tC. He's a little faster than me now, but maybe not for long...
Why have 1 tc, when you can have a 3tc motor?? :) My buddy Cor-Dog, says that the rear bumper looks like a city curb, but I say...
...when you park in the big, bad city, you need such bumpers for those real tight parking spots!
I love my little red wagon! It's a great car, and I was fortunate that the guy I bought it from, has a yellow one exactly like it and he has been working on his for some time now. My buddy Cor-Dog, is perhaps the best machanic in town, and he sold me Bessie for a great price. She only has 92,000 miles on her, and some change, and she runs and drives like a dream, or maybe a nightmare for others when they hear her coming...
Notice how imaculate the interior is.
but wait, thats not the stock sterio system...
Yep, Cor-Dog hooked me up fat with this install of my nice new Kenwood deck, and two 6 1/2's in the front doors.
The motor, is a 3tc, and I just had a brand new radiator put in her about two weeks ago by none other than my personal mechanic, CorDog @ CFAR Racing! It's kind of an interesting story how that came about.
Very Clean!
So, this one night, coming home from the video store, I was mobben up the road from a light, and my brother was behind me, perhaps he was letting get ahead, but that's irrelavent. :) As I looked back, I noticed his sick-@ss head lights looked a little foggier than usual, "huh, that's a little different," I said to myself, as he quickly zipped up beside me, which I of coarse let him do...:) When I turned onto the next street to find some parking, I notice rather large amounts of smoke protruding from my car. I radioed in to my bro and said, "I'm smoken like a mo-fo!" I pulled off the street and he came over and we had a looksee. Well, when I popped the hood, I found lots of coolent everywhere, and it appeared to be coming from the radiator. I found a good place to park poor Bessie, and quickly called my personal mechanic. He ordered the radiator and in the next couple days he was hooken me up fat again with the shiny new radiator that soon will match my rims!:) The only problem was, it wasn't the radiator at all. NOPE! It was a small hose in the front that would have been about 4 bucks instead of $174, but hey, live and you learn right... All I said, was thank god for Cor-Dog!!
Well thanks for stopping by everyone, and remember to vote, and rate Bessie! Leave me some comments too and I will be sure to hit you back! My coworker is an older woman, but a very cool lady and she loves cars too. She said to me one day, "Oh, that's just the cutest little car..."
I appriciated her compliments and enthusiazum, but I couldn't have a cute little car, so I headed over to CFAR Racing, and we came up with some of this...
...and all of a sudden, Bessie wasn't so cute anymore! "Oh to the Car God's Man!"
Now when the older folks say, "Oh whatta cute little car you have there!" I respond with, Yah, you didn't hear me pull in did you?"
That's a Magnaflow glasspack that was on my brother's tC for all of about a day. Then we decided that just the HKS "garbage can" angled street-racer style out the back of his tC, was enough muffling for his car, so we promply had this very glass pack pulled from his car and now it rest ever so descretely under Bessie, installed by none other than my personal mechanic and founder of CFAR Racing, Cor-Dog! He also custom bent and fitted this bad-@ss performance part.
Me and my bro's car ready for WAR!! His car is quite philthy too!!
Thanks again for stopping by! More photos, mods and sound clips of Bessie's furry to come soon!
Peace, Love, and remember...
"Rice Builds Muscle!"
See you on the streets...
Hey everyone, just a quick update, Since I last posted these photos I have added some more cool stuff to my Rolla!! I put some sick light weight Japanese racing rims on there and painted them Canary yellow. Also I have a webber now and a front strut tower bar. It's coming along nicely, and I will have more pics soon. I have plans for setting her up for drift, but thats in the future... Stay tuned...
Heres a teaser photo of the rims I put on Bessie
