This is my 1969 Ford Custom, I just bought her. She's been sat for a while and is in bad need of some tlc, bought in good shape for her age. I payed 1100 dollars and I drove away, (that's right drove) a rough but full of promise 60's era bethemoth. The paint is faded and scratched, and it appears as though at one point in it's life it was white. The interior is... we'll say creative. The engine is barely a runner, but she doesn't burn oil, and no rod knocking type noise. Sounds like there may be a sticky lifter in the right bank but I'm not overly concerned. She's got the best trunk I've ever seen in my life.

Plates on, insurance payed, registered, safieted and on the road. Nice one, now I have a daily driver. Time to take the tour.

Like thoses door skins? Not original lol. Air breather is off but there's the mill, ugly wiring in there, we'll work on with time. Eventually this engine bay will gleam.

She sits straight, and the frame looks real good. Almost no rust underneath at all, I was really impressed. A new battery in there after I learned the posts had been broken on the old one. It doesn't really fit but thanks to a spare bungee cord we're rollin' for now.
I washed and cleaned and vacuumed and scrubbed while chief fabricator extraordinaire, aka my dad thrw together and battery tray out of some flat bar, and threaded rod. We painted it black and ta-da, factory.
Here's that unique taste in interior I mentioned earlier. Give yourself some time and appreciate all the suttle nuances in the patterns. Remember, this was originally a white car with creme interior. *cough , yeah... I'll have to work on that.
She cleans up okay though, as long as you don't get in too close, lol. Still runs terrible though, not enough spark and bad tuning, but not for long.
