my name is dave, I'm 20 and this is my 1981 el camino.

this car has a 350 motor, i installed a edelbrock performer cam, intake, and carb, and long tube headers. the car is lowered an inch  or so when i bought it.

It has a custom interior, it has electric cadillac seats and console, and a monte carlo dash and a grant steering wheel

I am a mechanic so i do all my own work.I mechanic for a living as well, I dont know everything! yet :)

UPDATE! 7/29/2009 Finally got my T5 world class trans in. check the picks.

Center console had to go! :( dont worry i will take out the automatic shifter. got a temporary shifter and shifter boot on there. next thing is to find or build a console! mount my automatic seat controls in the colsole as well.

Next step is body work, the clear coat is falling off and chipping. crappy paint on crappy body work. this is what she looks like now.

nice bro, cant wait to see how it comes out, question, why did u just wrap half of the header on the drivers side? i could see passenger to not overheat the starter hehe just curiosity.

Hey David - I also have the external salve cylinder. I'm running Edelbrock TES shorty headers which aren't a problem, but it will be tough finding full length headers that fit. Keep me posted if you find something that fits or are able to modify your existing headers.
