well this is my new project its a 1983 vw rabbit i baught the car for $1050 off a friend of mine and it came with a full set of rally tires on trarantulas and a rebuilt gti motor and tranny and another truck load of spare parts.
just a shot of the rear with euro bumpers
i do have plans on painting the primer fender but this isnt going to be a show car by any means.
this car isint a true gti but i like the grill alot more than the stock and soon enough it will have a gti heart and legs.
well here is the half dead motor, its got a cracked piston and a blown head gasket between 3 and 4 so really its only running on 2.5 cylinedrs but the funney part is it only smokes when its below 0 degrees celcus but will be swaped out with the gti drivetrain i have readdy to go.
the mostly stock interor with one of my most favorite thing is the fast shift knob.
and also my shifter
future plans
i will make the best of bothe worlds and compete int both road and rally but it still will driven on the street

Hi, I have a 83 Turbo Diesel Rabbit 5spd. same color as yours. Can you tell me the color code? The sticker near the spare only has FH interior color.There are a bunch of option # but which maybe the exterior pt code?
