An Iowa Rainbow! Vintage Station Colo, IA

Hwy 30 East of Cedar Rapids Photo shoot for 2010
Iowa is the site for the national Convention

Hard to believe this is the same car! 5 months in the shop, LOADS of hours sanding, straightening, and then the long process of re-assembly! Needs wheel well trim, new rocker chrome, but this is a gorgeous ride now! We thought it was kind of pretty when we found it! I am doing a photo shoot that may be featured in the Corsa magazine for October 09. We're taking this car to Cedar Rapids and shooting with about a dozen other Iowa Corvairs here in August.
If you're here in the midwest, love to have your car photographed, we have some awesome vintage gas stations that provide an impressive backdrop. I'll photograph your ride like you've never seen it before!
e mail me tkrolling@yahoo.com and watch the highways and byways of Iowa for this and the blue 66, we're on the road a LOT.

This 65 corsa came out of Denver. Nice white interior, but paint was chalky, old, and nasty. There was some rust in the wheel wells, duh, and some body work that was done pretty poorly.
Potential was definitely there, stay tuned as this one gets an Extreme Makeover! It's a good solid car and in the hands of a capable body and paint shop. This one was stripped down to the basics, including taking out the front and rear glass---oops, the windshield was broken in the process. Found a nice replacement one. It'll have new carpet and stereo system along with a gorgeous Artesian turquoise interior in the spring of 09.
