Too much junk. Half of this will be gone, or at least cleaned up.

My mom agreed to finally let me have the Nova if I sell my S-10. The S-10 went on Craigslist that night, and in 2 or 3 weeks it was out of the way. I had been haggling her for the car for years. Finally.
The car has a 305 and I plan on leaving it. Of course I am going to do the basic upgrades to get it going right, such as replacing that 2 barrel carb. for a 4 barrel, Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock roller cam and lifter set. I would really like to see if I could find a set of Vortec heads for it.
As far as the outside, the sky is the limit. I will be doing the work myself. I don't work anymore, due to I have M.S.. It seems like every 78' Nova I see; they all look the same. I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean that I don't see many people doing what I plan to do with this, and it may be because it is a 78' Nova. I want to shave everything. I want to trim about 2-1/2"-3" from the fr. and rr. bumpers to bring them in closer to the fenders and quarter panels. I also want to change the tail lights. Air ride technologies makes some really nice suspension stuff that I have been looking into. I have seen some fiberglass hoods but am not all that impressed with them, so I will be making one from scratch. I am thinking something along the lines of what came on the 67' Shelby Mustangs.
Which brings me to the interior; boy do I have some work to do here. I have to replace most of the trim panels. which really isn't that big of a deal because if any of you have seen my old S-10......all the trim in that I fiberglassed. I do have to replace most of the floor pans. It has the old peg board style headliner which will be history before long. I am still working on ideas for a center console for the front and back. I would like to get some Autometer gauges.
If anyone has any ideas about what I might be able to do with the tail lights; I am open to suggestions..........
