This is my blue 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo coupe with Borg Warner T-5 short throw 5 speed. It has a 2.3L Turbocharged and Intercooled engine.Stock the engine has 190HP and 240lb of torque. Stock the car runs 16.3@84.5 mph.I'm guessin its a little faster now,LOL. The car has power windows,locks,mirrors,seat and it has cruise control. It also has programmed ride control which lts you select Auto or Firm ride, Auto is smooth and comfy, Firm is stiff suspension to maximize performance in braking and turning and racing. I have a couple modifications done right now, I have 3" downpipe, 3" exhaust cut-out & 3"hi flo cat (interchangable), custom made 2.5" Y-pipe, 2 Dynomax Ultraflo mufflers, 2.5" ATR SS tailpipes(look like Mustang GT tailpipes), K&N cone filter, Ric Gillis boost control valve, Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pessure Regulator, Walbro 255 High Pressure Fuel Pump, Bosch Bypass Valve,Gutted Upper and Lower Intakes, Bob Lee BIG LOG header, T3/TO4E hybrid- .48 Stage III turbine, 54 Trim Compressor @20 psi, Built Head(stock D-port head,port and polish,5 angle valve job,big valves,upgraded springs,and ranger roller cam), 65MM Throttle Body, Adjustable Cam gear, Pro 5.0 Shifter, EEC Tuner with PCMX software,Spec Stage 1 raceing clutch and last but not least my HUGE FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER(intercooler is from a International Bus with 3" piping from a f350 diesel)and to make the piping fit i had to get a new smaller radiator. Inside i have 3 Autometer gauges where the equalizer was, the gauges are Water Temp, Boost Gauge, Oil Pressure.Also on my A-pillar i have an Autometer A/F Ratio Gauge. And on my sterring column i have my autometer shiftlite. Couple of body modifications ive made are shaved antenna, removed moldings and filled in big thunderbird emblem in front, and i took out my foglights to get my air to the Intercooler.Future mods for my car are a set of Weld Draglits, 10 way adjustable Drag Struts and Shocks,New autometer pro comp gauges, Nitrous.Im sure everyone is wondering what this thing runs in the 1/4 and how much HP i have,Welp im wondering the same thing!!!LOL I've raced once with the new setup and was against a new mustang gt with exhaust and 373's and i spanked him.
