This is my 1965 pontiac tempest "that im trying to turn into a street /strip car," it came stock with a 326ci,at 250hp and 2 speed trans, first gear went all the way to like 90, but i just took the engine and trans out to replace it with a 389 w/335hp "stock" and a 400turbo trans, im still in the process of installing the new motor, so ill get some pics up of that also- the interior came in great shape w/ only one rip in the front seat "witch i am replacing with bucket seats anyways" the only other thing it realy needs is the quarter panels fixed and the trunks has some pitting/ little rust,( im hoping to have the new motor, trans ect in by the end of the month).............................

"i just took my 389 apart down to the block and i found out it will need to be bored and it needs all new internals, the only thing i can use is the block heads and possibly the crankshaft" the guy i bought it from etheier beat the crap out of it" or it had double the mialege he said it did, "so it might take a bit longer than i expected to get it back on the road,

"i talked to my machine shop guy and he told me that with the parts im putting in i should be making  420hp easy? "i hope he's right
