****HELP**** im at a brick wall n lookin for suggestions, i just bought this truck, n fell in love., shes a 68 2WD with a 289 and a 3 on the floor, so i cleaned her up and got her street worthy, well semi street worthy anyway, when i bought her she had a mix match exhaust and i didnt like it so i pulled the manifolds and exhaust off and found a set of long tube headers n figured i would bolt them on with some glass packs n be finished with the exhaust momentarily, well there lies the problem i got the headers on with a lil work but now the crossmember that holds the tranny is blocking the collectors from having any type of exhaust bolted on. the motor also sits canted to the left if you are lookin at it from underneath towards the radiator, i was told this is normal, but somethin doesnt seem right. so if anyone knows anything even just maybe some tips it would be greatly apprectaited, as im at my wits end and on a minimum budget. i will post pics of what im workin with tomorrow, thank you for any advice i really want to restore this old girl back to the way she deserves to look
