to tell you the truth, I don't know crap about different kinds of paint. Though I do know if you put more than one coat of clear on, that is the ultimate protection from the sun,chips,peeling etc. Also gives your paint a deep look. I just went with a color that popped out at me on the color chart. I wanted mine to be a unique color that you don't see every day, everyone I work with says its a nice shade of purple, but its actually is blue. Got lucky with the look of two colors. Hit me back with any other questions you have. 5 stars so far on your car, can't wait to see it painted. I noticed the new tires, what kind and size rims you putting on there? Get back at me. Later
