My Z28 Camaro

So this is my 1978 camaro I had for about a year and a half now. This is actually my first and only car. I drive this machine to work and back, and anywhere else I need to go. I cant go a day without driving it. My friends all say I need a beat up truck to drive on week days and I should only take this out on the weekends but if they had a car this good, they'de drive it everyday too haha. As you can see this car has a custom ghostflame paint job. It was done about five years ago so it's not perfect from all the sun, rain, and snow but it's in really good shape though. It's about a 3,000 dollar paint job that you rarely see around. People always ask me how they did the paint like that. First, they painted the car black then taped off the flames. The flames are painted with special paint that gives it a blueish pearl color that fades to a purpleish pearl colorl. While the paint is still wet, they put plastic wrap on top to give it that bad ass look.

This is a 350 engine with a TH350 automatic transmission. It has an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with an Edelbrock carburetor topped with a K&N air filter. The engine was actually rebuilt right before I bought the car. The engine's cammed with old headers, but I have a pair of Dynomax ceramic coated headers to put on yet. It also has crome Edlebrock valve covers along with a crome air cleaner. And you cant forget the Bosch triple platinum sparkplugs which were four dollars a piece haha.

This is a picture of my buddy Tyler's 1983 Z28 camaro on the left and my buddy Adam's 1996 Firebird Formula six speed on the right. We tend to drive in a pack and hit up the york circuit to see what kind of trouble we can get into. Both these cars can beat the shit out of mine but I can keep up. My car's just too damn heavy haha.

These pictures have to be my favorite of my car. It took me five hours to wash and wax it. There's not one piece of dirt on it. You can see more of the ghostflames ending at the back in the right pic.
