Well if your here you probably checked out my Chevy Truck's. Now I know its not EXACTLY an Escort anymore. Its actually a modified 4 cylinder pulling tractor. Its all escort. 85 5 speed tranny, 95 block with an 85 head. The 95 block had less miles and had alot better pistons while the 85 head had the carb setup and also had a smaller chambers. Makes for a wicked combo. Its actually setup so the spiders are welded up and then a CV shaft runs into a Pinto rear. Its a blast to be able to putt around in 5th gear in the back yard but still be able to run it up through and back down through all 5 gears when I get the urge to take it on the road. its tons of fun and the stares are priceless!

The gas tank is an old keg. Paint is rattle can flat black with gloss white stripes, red pin stripes and gloss red wheels with silver brake drums.

Gotta have Mr. Horsepower!

Heres a shot of the fender. Its gotta be seen in person to apprishiate the work that gone into it.

As i said, its a 1.9 Escort motor. It'll spit a flame outta each pipe. Its pretty wild to run at night.

26 12 12 tires mounted on custom made rims.

The shifter handle is actually a 2" trailer ball. Gotta love custom stuff!

Heres a close up of the ball.

Hope you enjoyed looking at this bad boy. Check us out on the web at www.alleghenypullers.com. You can go to our pulls and watch my dad and I tear up the modified class!
Thanks alot for your votes folks! This thing has been on here for under a week and its already the top ride in the 85 Escort area! The views are pushing 140 and the guest book grows bigger everyday! I apprishiate all you guys that come in here and look at the thing. I will get a video up of it in action just as soon as the pulling season starts up!
First pull of the year! Distributor is outta it so I had to play with the timing going down the track. Next pull I'll get a video of it in its prime!

Well the season is drawing ever so closer to an end. I named this bad boy and made up a custom grill (yeah, my tractor puller has a grill!) and finished the wheelie bar. It hasnt done too hot this year because of a number of little problems.

I also gave the motor a fresh coat of paint. I really wanted the hotrod theme to stay true so I went with a red block, aluminum (its an aluminum head), silver and a touch of black.
