This is a really fun project. it is my son's car. (He's got a nicer car than me!)
What can I say, its a Ferrari:

Front view (nice projectors!):

Side view, check out the wheels and the low profile tires:

The rear:

From above:

It has a lot of nice details, like the exhaust tips:

The engine:

The steering wheel.

Precisely the steering wheel button on the left, and the fact that it had room for an extra battery, got me thinking that I could tweak this baby too to increase its power. Check out the heart of the beast:

This is how it looks underneath:

Check it out after the installation, it looks stock!

here are the plans:

The results were amazing, the car has double the power while the "nitrous" is armed and the steering wheel button is pressed. When the arming switch is in the "off" position the battery lasts twice as long.

The downside is that the car has a lot of torque, and like mine, it's hard to take off with "nitrous" without spinning out the wheels. The tires are made of hard plastic, that does not help much.
If he hits the button on roll then the car takes off really fast, I have to run after him, hahaha.
My son is really happy with the changes, I'm sure Vin Diesel would have liked to have something like this when he was a child (I do, hahaha).

This is all I see when he activates the "nitrous":

My wife thinks I'm insane, but my son is really happy with the changes... it's a lot of fun see him drive his little monster.
We have taken his car to the park many times, he has a lot of fun and I make a lot of exercise running after him, hahahaha. Still, we noticed that the car needed also more traction, that got my head rolling... why not install anoter motor?, this way we get double the traction and also double the torque!.
so I looked for another motor, and finally found it:

This is the original setup, only one motor:

The other side had nothing but the holes to mount another motor:

So I removed the rear axle:

Then took out the plastic spacer, because the motor would take this space:

Installed the other motor and inserted the axle again:

Then made the electrical connections, the cables had to go backwards because the motors need to turn to oposite sides, since they are mounted in a mirror setup:

The result?, hahahaha, it launches HARD with nitrous!, I hope my son can controll it. Two engines= twice the torque, twice the acceleration, I don't know yet about top speed, but it will probably increase since its less load for the motor.
Will let you know how the trial drive goes!!, it will be fun!.
