This is kind of the goal.

I'm making a bike that is going to be similar to the one above but not exactly. . Carpy you da man, you make sick bikes!!! I'll be doing it in flat green with white racing stripes. The frame is going to be gloss black and there will be some parts that will be raw metal with a clear coat over them. 

 

I started off with a 81 Honda CB750F Super Sport. Bellow are some pix of the bike. I've only done 3 mods to it so far in this pic; Z-bars, Rear master brake line, and custom made battery cables.

                                   

           

         

I got 88-91 Honda NT Hawk rear sets I made some custom peddels for it from my 07 Hyosung GT650R passenger pegs. The ugly fat old cracking rubber ones had to go! On the right is a pic of what the stock rear wheels looked like before i glass blasted them.

05/15/09 Glass blasted the wheels and the rear sprocket then threw 6 coats of clear on them.

05/16/09 I installed Individual Air Filters on the cb900c carbs & ditched the stock air box.

this sick Skull Mooneyes tail light will be going on a Moto Carrera Duck-bill seat

    

 

 Tri-bar headlight is going into this modified and painted a headlight bucket I got off ebay. I had to do a lot of work to that bucket.

 

  

05/23/09 Clearcoated the wheels today, paint the hubs and cleared them too. I painted the rotors red and will be painting the calipers red too.

 

 

 Seatpan arrived on thursday. Turn Signals arived on friday, Seat is a perfect fit. I'll have it mounted tomorrow.

  

   

  

05/29/09 This is a pic of me glass blasting the rear swingarm, ran out of time at work so this will get finished on monday. Pic to the right is the rear swing arm stripped and clearcoated, 6 coats.

After it's cleaned of all paint i'm just going to clear it like the wheels, rear shocks, brake brakets, and rear sets. Glass blasting the metal puts a really cool finish to it.

 

   

05/30/09 Stripped the Gas Tank today, bondoed the 2 small dents on the right side and stated paintied it flat green etching primer Along with the seat pan.

 

  

 

     

 

06/14/09 Finished painting the frame and the tank this weekend, almost time to put it all back to geather. Just have to add the white racing stripes to the tank and seat. Still have to make the battery covers and paint them flat green too.

 

   

06/21/09 Finished the custom side covers and painted them. Installed MoonEyes tail light on cafe seat pan. Next week working on racing stripe on tank and seat pan and custom exhaust.

 

  

06/28/09 Paint for the racing stripe is being ghey. Keeps cracking up so I'm gonna glass blast it off and respray tomorrow. Found the right tips i want for the mufflers! I'll be making custom mufflers out of them. The bike is almost done! Just need to rebuild the braKe master cyclinders and all 3 brake calipers with the rebuild kits I got the other day.

 

   

07/04/09 Finished the tank and seatpan!

 

07/05/09  Made brackets for the front turnsignals, and mounted them. Putting the rear swingarm on and shocks back on.

 

     

     

07/11/09  Installed new custom tach and speedo, installed rear swing arm and started rebuilding the brake calipers. So hot and i've had a migraine since thursday so I didn't get as much done as I wanted to  :P

  

07/19/09 Cut brake rotors, installed front rotors to wheel, installed cafe mirrors and painted one of my front fenders flat green.  

   

  

08/02/09  Finished my custom made mufflers and put the wheels back on the bike.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

Almost done! Just need to shorten the seatpan, have a seat pad made, install the rearsets and rebuild the brake calipers/master cylinders.
