Caprice #2....

Same 95 9C1 package as the other one, but this one packs the LT1. :D

Haven't dont much to it...very little time and 2 cars to look after. This one is just sitting as of now awaiting some minor repairs. Plans are to use it as a winter bomb as its pretty rusty already. So far ive replaced the starter, put in a "new" battery, fixed a busted brake line and modified the A/C compressor so that it will now spin, instead of being siezed soild. Put on a used belt and now it drives again.

The car had a SS grill, put I put a Chrome Caprice one back on it...goin for a different look on this one. Trying to keep it Caprice. It has a spoiler on it as well, keepin that.

Has a set of (rusted) chrome 15s on it with white letter tires. looks pretty good. Also has "Caprice SS" quarter scripts. Typical B-Body rust behind the rear wheels. This side is gonna require a patch welded in. Other side is fine. Other than that the body is solid, with the exception of the floor under the back seat. Needs to be patched as well.

Stuck in the radio that I hauled out of my 91 Park Avenue years ago. This one only had AM/FM. Also fixed the cluster, cleaned the contacts and retensioned the terminals and it works perfectly again. This car has full carpet instead of rubber flooring and a cloth back seat. Even tho it was a police car it also never had a cage put in it.

It also still has the BRIGHT police interior light too!

Haven't done much to the engine, jammed in a Crappy Tire Puck and put a piece of pipe where the other silencer was. Just crap I already had laying around. The converters on this car are gutted and it has a set of Magnaflow mufflers on it. Sounds pretty mean. The car still needs a set of spark plugs, and the water pump is leaking...

More to come....

Good luck with it I love the look of the GY Eagle GT 2. I had them on my 92 9C1.
