It's a work in progress...

I bought this car on May 4, 2009. Had it about a month and my starter is going out now. Yay! I'm going to throw a new one on it soon and I'm on the hunt for black 17's with a machined chrome lip.

I've restored the headlights to a much better condition and I'll be adding newer photos soon. I've removed the rear tail light covers, so now I have the full brake light showing. I'll be re-painting the covers with high gloss paint. (they were faded)

I've decided to black out the third tail light, and I'll be doing so after I paint the tail lights covers over. I'll also be adding custom painted black emblems. I'm simply going to paint the original "Cougar" and "V6" emblems black to give it a little unique touch.

I'll be adding pics of the car as it is today, as well as the stereo system and leather interior soon. I just snapped these three real quick when I first got the car.

I'm open for any suggestions on modifications to the Cougar. I have some things planned for the ride as of right now. I'd like to start by installing a short ram cold air intake, followed by a full exhaust system and then a cooler running thermostat - to insure my car stays cool under high RPMs. I'd then like to lower the ride about an 1 - 1 1/2 inch and I'm hoping to find wide rims to make the Cougar look a little more mean.

Thanks for checking out my ride!

5* your way and thanks for coming by my way. Yea i installed a Magnaflow universal thinking it would be loud but really it just purs. it seems that i must remove the resinator in middle of car to get the sound im looking for. If you are looking for a dual or single exhaust goto trubendz.com. They supply everything needed for your cougar as far as exhaust. If you wanna do your headers goto MSDS.COM. believe it or not the my AEM intake is louder then the pipe.
