This is my poor 1997 Chevy Camaro.  It has had a rough life, i purchased it from a salvage yard that had bought it wrecked and fixed it, it was worse than I new when buying it.  The so called trunk area underneath had been bashed up really bad and they beat it back down, the passenger side under the door was beat up, and they fixed it, well for the most part.  The hood and front clip had been replaced, and they did a terrible job painting it, you can see the swirl marks from the sandpaper, barely, but you can.  Whoever wrecked it I guess ran it off the road into a ditch and through a barbwire fence, that is all they told me after buying it, stupid me I should of asked before.  The previous owner also lowered it a little bit, or at least that is my opinion, sits lower than most of the camaros i have seen and all the springs and such had been replaced.  After owning it for about a year, I threw a rod in the motor, the car only had 65,000 miles on it, found a motor with only 64,000 miles at the same salvage yard I bought the car from, which was a big mistake(Ill get to that in a minute) , then I blew out third gear(bad nightt mixed with alchohol and a fight with the old lady=sloppy ass, over revved shifting and bad clutching).   So we had a guy rebuild the transmission, got the car back and man did it start having bad tranny problems, so took it back to they guy, he pulled it out and said there was not a drop of fluid in the tranny, which was his mistake, I only had the car back for a few weeks when that happened.  Good job asshole, so he bought and paid for a remanufactured transmission and installed it in the car, no problems with the transmission after that.  Now back to the used motor we put in it, that we purchased from the same salvage yard we bought the car from, well they installed it for us as well.  Not any more than 3 months after they had installed the motor, the drivers side motor mount bolts fell out, the part that bolts to the block.  So we took it back, and they put new ones in, yay its fixed now, or is it?  Fuck no it aint, a few weeks later I was racing a 5 speed 5.0 mustang, my camaro is only a 3.8 series II V6 with flowmaster exhaust, a Jet performance chip, and a cold air intake, the mustang had more done to it, well I was beating the mustang(it must of been sick or just had a bad driver, LOL) and guess what happened, the damn motor mount bolts fell out again.  So we took it to a really good mechanic this time and he tapped the block out a bit and put slightly larger bolts in it, finally its fixed, or is it?  Ok this time it lasted maybe three weeks of normal driving, not even "Hot Rodding it" and they fell out, so I once again took it back he put the bolts back in, and I got it back!!  Well needless to say it is sitting at my house in my carport with the front clip and tires removed because this time when the bolts fell out it snapped the ac condenser bracket and the bolt that attaches it to the block snapped off in the block and I tried everything to remove that damn broken bolt but it will not come out.  So the poor car has been sitting like that for a little over two years now, with only 70,000 miles on the car and maybe 67,000 miles on the motor.  I have not decided if i just want to sell it as is or buy another 3.8 V6, put it in and sell it, or buy a V8 and 6 speed and put in and keep it.  I have concluded that from its wreck that maybe the unibody got tweaked a little bit and that is why I have had all these problems, never had this much trouble with a vehicle before.  And this is the only good picture I have of it, which was taken right after it got dark and I had just washed it.  The poor, poor Camaro!!
