Here's my dad's baby.
After sitting for almost 25 years we bought it from a family friend for 1,000 Dollars cash money making the promise that it would be on the road again in less than a year.
When we got it it had a stock 305 and a built 2 speed power glide. the motor and transmission went asap (owner wanted the powerglide back).
For almost 5 months every night except for 5 in our friends garage we took the rust free camaro down to bare metal and did every bit of body work on it. (the hood was a pain).
we then painted the car solid black.
We removed the heater core and everything that had to do with that and slammed a 1970 SS chevelle396 factory bored 402 with 30.000 miles on it in there with a t-350 trans.
This is one of the most beautiful camaros I've seen as far as paint and how well the body work was done. it takes a master nit picker to find the 2 tiny dents left in the car.
To this date there is about 4,500 dollars invested in this ride.
Interior will be redone this summer hopefully.
