Hey everyone! On May 2, 2009, I traded my 2008 Jeep Liberty Limited 4x4 for a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox Sport. It was completely new when I found it - no one had ever purchased it. In fact, it only had 76 miles on it from test drives throughout the year it was on the lot. So... I decided to support the American automobile industry and buy a new Chevy. It has been raining ever since I bought it, but I managed to take a few pictures between rain showers...

Just to give you a little background on the Equinox Sport vehicles... It is 1" lower than original Equinox models to give this style a more sporty look.

As you can see, Jet has different front and rear Sport-specific fascias that match the car's color and 18" polished aluminum wheels. It's also got a sport-tuned suspension, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission with a tap-up/tap-down manual option. That's definitely really fun when you're playing around on the road... You know, like racing some cars? :)

Speaking of going fast, Jet has a 3.6L V6 engine that puts out 264 horsepower and will take this beast from 0-60 in under 7 seconds. The front wheels will definitely spin... take my word for it.

The interior is absolutely flawless - black leather interior with Sport-specific accents and gauge cluster. It has a ton of room, so you can definitely fit 5 passengers with ease.

This particular Sport came with an upgraded Pioneer sound system that included a subwoofer and an amp. The sound quality is awesome.

Well, this is my Equinox! Hope you like it - it's way cooler and more sporty than the Jeep, so I'm pumped. Be sure to check out the other vehicles in our "stable."
