I acquired this Monza in 1991. It came with the 140ci Vega engine with 4 speed saginaw tranny. It got an engine transplant before being driven, then worked good for a few years as primary transportation. I then got a 79 Monza with a 3.2L V6 and used it, for my transportation, and due to the fact that the body was not the greatest, I used the 79 as a doner car and added the upgraded brakes front and rear. The engine got new life, .030 overbore and a mild Cam. When it went in this body, it also got a new clutch.
The top was turning a little rusty after I took the black vinyl off so I decided to paint it white. I felt that some stripes would enhance the apearance. I will post some pictures of the black top, if I can find them.
The rear spoiler is getting redone, More pictures when it gets done.
