tmlittle's 1969 Chevrolet CamaroOK this is a start. I have a 69 Camaro and it is the first car project I ever attempted. I changed a plain jane 307 with a vinyl top and 4 wheel drum brakes with a on the column shift auto trans to a fun filled 4 speed with 4 wheel discs and quite a decent power plant. The pic above shows the engine out of the car. There are some ugly stories that go with all of this engine in and out business. Nice to report it is in for a while.

The beast has been shaved thus no door handles or locks. I steered away from chrome for the most part. The wheels are polished Boyd Coddington junkyard dogs. I went with same color bumpers and shaved those too. The rally stripes are not visible and tough to get a good photo. They are purple pearl and really only pop under good sunlight. The same pearl was used on the window trim and grill. It usually surprises folks when they get up close.  The console as you can tell is homemade. The top is polished aluminum. Not visible (I will take a few more photos) are the Autometer gauges. I used the original locations for the speedo and tach - subtle but nice.

This page sucks and I apologize. Everytime I try and delete space below or between paragraphs it keeps adding them when I hit save - any suggestions are welcome.

Next Page - more shots of the interior
