This is my 1989 BMW 525i. I purchased it in March of 2009. The body is mint for a 20 year old car. I paid $1100 for it from a private owner who had three other bimmers. I actually wanted a 5 speed, but this one was so clean that I couldn't pass it up. The others I looked at were either too far away, cost too much, or needed too much repair. On top of that I live in the northeast so finding one with no rust was definately a deal closer for me. It had 192000 miles on it when I got it, but it runs like a champ and the tranny shifts smooth. I plan to do a 5 speed swap later among other things. I'll keep updating as I go. Hit me up with any suggestions you my have.
