AS NEWLY UPDATED IN THE HEADLINE,I AM NOW SELLING THIS CAR. I'm in Charlotte,NC but will consider reasonable offers from anywhere. Buyer will have to arrange for pickup or shipping. Car runs just as good as it looks,105,000 miles on it. Feel free to ask questions.
Here is 1996 Jaguar XJ6 Saloon, as they say in England. The (second to) last year of the true English Jaguar sedan and quality engine. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the page, so I decided to redesign a little with better pics.
The wheels are 20" Gianelle Quatars, wrapped in 225/35/20 tires. Not too big, not too small, just right fit.

The paint is original for the most part, did get some scratches professionally painted over in the rear of the car. The guy screwed up in matching the color, and the paint is darker in the back. But I like it actually because it has a 'fade to dark' custom look to it.

I got this car on a Wednesday in Georgia, paint detailed Thursday, 35% tint Friday (wanted badly to go darker, but 35% is the legal limit in NC, and didnt feel like drama from punk cops pulling me over), and rims on Monday. Look in the following pic and you can see my old tires in the back seat from when I came from the rim shop.

Took my car to Brian's Detailing on Chastain Rd. in Charlotte. This guy did such an excellent job with restoring the paint that it almost looks like candy. If you are in or around Charlotte and have a car that you want restored, definetly look him up on Google. Some pics of the car after detailing:

Here's a pic that I recently took of my car at a carshow in Mooresville, NC. Here you can see the chrome mirror covers that I recently added.

The interior of the car is all original. Whoever had this car before me took really good care of it. I did add two small details, my wooden shift knob:
Also added some floor mats with the Jaguar logo:

The wood dash and trim (all original) on these Jaguars are exquisite:

Below are some final pics of the finished (at least until I think of something else to do) product. I think I accomplished my goal of making the car look classy and have an updated look at the same time. I'm not going to get in the habit of adding unnecessary details to the car, because that's not needed on a Jag.
