Favorite Cars

1. 1998-2002 Trans Am WS6

CamaroIrocZZZZ's 1998 Pontiac Trans AmThe 98-02 LS1 Firebirds were the fastest ever produced. Under rated at 320-325 horsepower with ram air. Dyno testing by "Muscle Mustangs, and Fast Fords" show 321 horsepower at the rear wheels. All LS1 cars will make 350-370 horse power at the crank bone stock depending on weather conditions and other factors. To make a long story short they were under rated to make Corvette owners happy. Catch my drift? The quickest LS1 was also tested by MM&FF. It ran 12.8 at 108 mph in the hot summer weather. The article is located on Stangbangers.com. As far as the years go. The 1998-2000 models had a slightly larger cam, and the 2001-2002 models borrowed the LS6 intake manifold from the Corvette. Power was kepted at the same level. Reguardless of year, or model "An LS1, is an LS1" Plain and simple.

Specs

0-60 : 4.8-5.0

1/4: 12.8-13.3

Top Speed- 165

Rear wheel horse power- 315-325

2. 2003- 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra

CamaroIrocZZZZ's 1998 Pontiac Trans Am The 2003-2004 Cobra came from the factory with a supercharged 4.6 L DOHC motor. Under rated at 390 horse power. Dyno testing shows actual power production in the 400-425 range. With a 6 speed manual this monster hits 60 in 4.5 seconds and destroys the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at 113 mph.

Specs

0-60 : 4.5-4.9

1/4 : 12.4-12.9

Top Speed- 155 Limited

Rear wheel horse power- 370-380

 3. 2001 Camaro ZR1

CamaroIrocZZZZ's 1998 Pontiac Trans AmThe ultimate Camaro. Packing a 572 cubic inch motor. The faster Camaro ever produced.

0-60 : 2.5

1/4 : 9.4 at 144

Horse power- 600

4. 2001 Trans AM Blackbird

CamaroIrocZZZZ's 1998 Pontiac Trans Am Each Blackbird starts out as a stock TA WS6 with an LS1. With the help of a higher flowing catback system and a high flow air lid power is boosted to 380 BHP. If thats not enough there is a phase two package that makes 435 horses! Yikes. A Phase II equiped Trans Am would be capeable of running 12.0's all day long at over 117 mph.

0-60 : 4.4

1/4 : 12.8 at 111

Engine horse power : 380
