This is how it sat when i brought her how from the scrap yard.  In the begining i had my ranger witch is also on here.  It was alot of fun but i was always leaving freiends and family do to seating.  So i wanted a back seat.  So i traded the ranger for a 1987 firebird with a v-6 it ran and drove and i took it to a local yard and asked him if he would trade for a bronco and a v-8 and trany.  So i was on my way to what i wanted.

So this is how she sits no.  I did all the work myself.  I built the motor mounts did the axle swaps and built a new tranny cross member.  I put a 302 in it and it ran ok but after warming up it would loose oil preasure.  So they got me a 351w and with a little more mods to the heater box it fit fine.  So I put full size axels under it out of a 79 bronco.  The 351 is mated to a c6.  It has a 3 in body lift with a 4 in suspension lift.  The tires for now are 35x14.5 thornbirds.  That will change when i get back from the midle east.

basically what i did was take the hatch and put it up against the cab. to hold it in place i used some self tapping screws on the top and sides. for the bottom there is a metal plate with a 90 degree bend that is bolted to the floor and to the hatch. for the finish work i'm not sure what was used. my friend's dad did it at his body shop. it is some kind of fiberglass though. it turned out pretty good, but it's been 4-5 years since it was done so it's kinda cracking. the tailgate is just another hatch with the top chopped off. it doen't fold down but it does come off. i would eventually like to put a ranger tailgate on there. thanks for the comment. hope that helps and good luck!
