1991 Suzuki Escudo Nomade
1.6 4cyl, 4spd auto with od.
this iz my 1991 Suzuki Escudo Nomade, it haz a bit of mods like: wide wheel arches, wide rimz and tires (deepdish), modified exaust (sounds deeper with a mellow tune to it) and aluminium body paneling on the rear and front, also with 2 fiamm horns fitted.
this is the "accident" damage that happend a while back. read about it on my benz page.
another shot, its not lowered in any way tho, just smaller tyres but they r wider than other escudos.
front of it, see the horns next to the num plate. (i need 2 get a new fuze for the horns to work)
the interior seems to be ok, but i'm thinking of blue & black racing seats 4 the front & back, in da same style as the steering wheel cover, and change the steering wheel into a racing type (same colour tho: blue and black)
recently i changed the interior a bit (wheel cover and front seat covers) I'm gonna get racing seats forthe front and back in this style (i will lose 1 seating space), and a racing wheel like this.
HAHA I'm a krayzie nut so i'm thinking of a v8 conversion for this with a 5 or 6 spd manual transmission. do n-e-1 kno of a type of v8 engine, trans, and diff which'll be good for this. anything else i'm missing?.
ok in the past few days i have been doing sum reserch on what type of engines to fit on this: what i know is that a 4.3 v6 vortec is an eazy option for a escudo requiring minimal work as compared to gettin a v8 and stuffing it in. but ive been lookin' at sum small V8z like da rover (or buick as some would call it) 3.5 v8. but i'ma really interested in the 4.0 v8 of a lexus which givez 191 kW (256 hp), and 353 N·m (260 ft·lbf) of torque stock, but itll require alotta butchering. i have to still find a good transmission, auto 4 now untill i get my full license then i may go 4 a 5spd or 6spd. i may have to change the diff too. brakes & suspension as well.
o yea... the fuel tank, i better get a bigger one az i dont like to frequently fill up. (what matter to me aint MPG (or km/l) but a good enough (400+km) range in 1 full tank).
i dont think ill get this done soon as i'm still studying at uni 1st year doing "autotronics" (automotive electronics with a bit of mechanical) an after that bachelor of app tech. in auto engineering. but i won't give up on this.
ive heard sum people have done a conversion for their escudo/vitara (or whateva u call it in other countries) what and how have you dun it? thatz what i wanna know.
any advice on doin' this is appreciated
