THE YELLOW DART!
2.5 year restoration project that is finally done. a screamin 1340cc racing engine with 649 cam runs this beast.
Hey everyone!
Ok its been a year or so since i found my password to this site!!
so here we go!.
ok i plan on doin some updatin this time and i got some work done on my truck.
ok 2004.
Lowered the rear 2 inches. Painted the wheels.
I am now chopping the wheel wells in the front to put some nice 13x7s on there and also lowering it a little.
Here is what i have been working on.
I chopped wheel wells. I have installed new side markers on the fenders. Smoke with hyper white bulbs! nice!!!
Replaced the front turn signals with hyper whites. Installed Silverstar headlights.
that is what i have done..
Soon.
I will be yanking the engine placing another tranny in. Switching the shift linkage. Lowering the front. Making a cold air unit. Along with some grille mesh in the body kit and dual oval tip exhaust.
Then redoing the seats, getting new glass to tint, get some cards for the doors. Make a wooden shift knob to match my custom made wooden toggle tips. Red oak of course!
I have posted a pic of it against a 1/2 ton pickup and will be soon adding an old pic of the interior.

Engine Specs.
This has a 1340cc engine.
It is a cooper S engine bored to .060 over. Three ring hepolite pistons dished at 11cc. Dual timing chaing. Steal center bolt main. Alloy racing water pump. Headers to 2" exhaust. Bigger crank throw at 73mm.
Body work.
This vehicle was a rust heap from hell. I cut out from the firewall to the tail gate. Welded new flor pans. made new firewall pieces. Made the complet back part of the cab and back bed of the truck. Very VERY well done. I got skill. haha..
This is one of very few austin mini pickups with a zeemax body kit. I am sure i can email zeemax and ask them how many they have sold. Prob be under the number of 10 made.
Interior
recaro seats needing redone.
i made 1/2" red oak dash and center console. Along with toggle tips.
