History:
I bought this 1999 Trans Am on 2/27/2009 with 88k miles. I drove it everywhere, but I did end up selling it on Aug 31, 2009 with 92kish miles to buy my 03 Z06. I hope the new owner treats it well as it was a simply awsome car, and I had dumped my heart and soul into it. When I bought it, it was covered in dust everywhere and it looked like it had been sitting in a garage for a year which it probably did. The hood was unpainted and the car didn't seem to look very good overall. It had some minor cosmetic problems, but very minor for the most part.
When I bought the car, it had only a few mods done by the previous owner, K&N air filter, skip shift eliminator, SLP H.O. hood (unpainted), white faced gauges, a block heater, a sound system(I had it removed to get the price down more), and a flowmaster muffler welded into the stock catback exhaust system.
As you can see the transformation was great.

Appearance Mods:
As you can see, I added 30th Anniversary Stripes, "Trans Am" door decals, redid the rear bird, put firebirds on the seat headrests, put in "PONTIAC" insert on the back, tinted the windows 20% and cleaned out the wheels really good. Oh, yeah, painted the hood! When I took these pics, I didn't really clean the outside either, so it could've look even better!
Performance Mods:
I added a Hooker exhaust system. The whole deal, long tube headers, ORY, and catback. The catback is an Aero Chamber muffler 3". I added LS6 intake manifold with A.I.R. and E.G.R. delete. I also added MSD 8.5 wires and NGK TR5 spark plugs. Also, I added a SLP air lid, free ram air mod, 255/50/R16 rear tires, and added weld on subframe connectors.
Exhaust videos can be found here:
One with Flowmaster
One with some full hooker setup before ls6 intake and having some weird sound.
One more recent with ls6 intake and no weird sound.

About the Car Itself from Factory:
The car itself comes with the LS1 V8, 346 cubic inch, alluminum Corvette engine mated to the T-56 6 Speed Manual transmission standard. In my car, it was rated by GM at 305hp, most F-body guys know these particular ones were underrated. Some claim they really had the same as the Vette at 350hp. It is indeed possible and dynos seem to prove it as most of these LS1 F'bods would dyno from about 285rwhp-315rwhp stock. Then you account for drivetrain loss(I hear about 15% for manuals), and you are in the 350 range. I've yet to take mine to the dyno so I don't know for sure what mine is, but I'll probably find out one day.
Plans that I never got to do :(
(Did not change text so it reads a bit funny since I sold it)
Exhaust/Intake:
Done for the most part. LS6 intake, !AIR, !EGR, Hooker Longtubes, Hooker ORY, and Hooker Caback. What else is there? Well, I might port my throttle body sometime.
Engine/Suspension:
I'll probably (like 80% sure) do a cam in the future, possibly heads, it kinda depends if I can get a good deal on some as I'm not wanting to spend so much money on the car, its starting to really add up :( Everything that goes along with it too of course(tune, valvesprings, etc.). My goal will probably be to push around 400-450 rwhp. Any more would be icing.....or bad as I don't want to have to start paying even more for rear ends and clutches :P I may lower it to depending on how much it costs for everything else, I'm thinking a 1.5" drop or so. I'm just slightly looking into suspension upgrades, but I probably won't do much more since I got SFC's already and those were a great help.
Interior/Exterior:
I'm also planning on doing some interior lighting changes. I'm going to add blue glow underdash lights, and probably change all the stock lights to blue including the intrument panel. Might consider underglow on the car, but I'm not sure yet. I know for sure I'm going to light up my Firebird License plate cover, I already have a clear one ready to be installed/painted and lit up. I may add Trans Am or Firebird embroided floor mats too. I also have WS6 wheels, although they arn't in the best of shape, so I'm going to try repolishing them. Check out the poll (WTF Happened to the polls? Well you can let me know in comments!)and tell me what you think I should do! 2 of the WS6 wheels are liveable, and I just bought 2 new 16" tires, so the best most cost efficient thing to do would be 16" on fronts and 17" on rear. I could just go all out though and get 30th wheels, or just powder coat my ws6 wheels blue.
