''BLACK On GOLD ''

Here is my Pride and joy! Its my 2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4. About a year and a half ago this was a dream car to me. I finally got the chance to get one so a jumped on it. It turned out that it wasnt a great idea to be in such a hurry. about 15 min. or so after driving it home i began to here a knock and everyone knows that can never be good. At first i thought it might just be a broken valve stem which is not a huge deal, but nothing ever goes as planned. It ended up being that the 2nd and 3rd rod bearings were spun and the motor was pretty much fried. The prevous owner put in a high weight oil to prevent it from knocking right away. So it brings me to what i have today. I figured if it needs to be rebuilt i might as well go all out. Thats why i through down the money and got a fully built short block, with JE Pistons bored .020 over, Eagle Rods and ARP head bolts. Now it is  definetly my dream car. These cars are def. Love um or Hate um and i happen to be someone who absolutely loves um. I couldnt dream of a better car for the money. and to all the haters out there that say its just a neon you might as well not even waste your breath because ive heard it all before.
