This is my new Toy that I just picked up. It is a 1972 Buick Skylark SunCoupe. It is a very rare car, as from what I can find, approxiamately only 3500 of them were made. It features a sliding vinyl Sunroof that is pretty much the size of the roof :-). The Buick 350 engine and TH350 tranny have only 71K orignal miles and it runs real smooth, even with original points/cap/rotor. It is even more rare that it is an original New England car and in such great shape. The Fenders, Rockers, Doors, Trunk Floor and Drivers quarter are all solid and original. The Passenger side quarter has some work done to it, but I believe it is mostly due to a large dent at the bottom of the front portion of the quarter and a small patch on the lower rear portion. The floors are really good with only two very small spots needing patching. The frame is all solid also. The interior is in excellent shape and all original. Oh and the original build sheet was still in the trunk. I can't wait to start fixing it up. Here are some pictures of the car.

As far as color, I'm not 100% decided, but I may go with the original Metallic medium green with some stripping. Interior will stay stock with the addition of a decent radio. I'll probably start with converting it to an Electronic ignition, perf intake with a 4 barrel of some sort (advice welcome), headers - already has flowmaster dual exhaust, also add a K&N filter. Then down the line possibly a cam, a shift kit to the tranny, & Posi to the rear. I would like to upgrade the suspension, but haven't thought about which way to go. I will definately add bigger sway bars and some nice wheels and Tires probably in the 17" size. Other then that, all suggestions are welcome.
thanks for looking.
