2003 SVT Ford Focus #3851
R.I.P. - September 19, 2009

CD Silver / Red 3-door
Purchased April 11, 2009.

This is a beautifully-made, low-mileage stock example, and I'm not in a hurry to modify it just yet; I'm having lots of fun with it in stock trim. The group at SVT don't mess around - it's a potent, balanced, engaging, fun ride, right out of the box.
So far, all I've done is cosmetic. Build number decals added to the front bumper; ZX3 grille with clear signals; clear corner lenses; leather shift and brake boots; billet short antenna, and Mustang billet fuel door.
Before it's all said and done, there are just a few performance improvements that I'll probably be making. The body roll is a bit much, compared to my Roush Cougar, so I'll most likely be adding larger stabilizers - at least on the rear. I think a cold-air intake is in order, if only for the noise; it sounds a bit like a sewing machine, and needs a little more grumble. The exhaust is pretty impressive as-is, but if I can find something sophisticated like a Borla system, I'd be glad to open it up a little.
The truth is, it needs VERY LITTLE to make it a better car. Highest recommendation.
