After five years driving a Porsche Boxster 2.7 I am back to the MX5. The Boxster is a fantastic sportscar, especially on longer trips, but with almost "too much grip" for its 220 bhp.
On a curvy backroad the nimble MX5 is lighter and more fun, and when it is supercharged like my former MX5 it's just huge fun!!!
When I decided to buy another MX5 I was very clear about what I should look for: a 1994 model 1.9L. This is the first model with the larger engine, but the final model with the old style, simple but in my opinion better looking interior. Italian Momo steering wheel as original equipment which is a nice and sporty detail!
I found the perfect example in Dusseldorf, Germany. Pictures above are the first pictures taken in Norway with Norwegian license plates a few weeks after the car was imported. A completely stock car with very low milage, the perfect car for a supercharger project! Wow - this is gonna be fun!
