This is 1968 valiant 2dr post. The car stared life as a /6 with 4 wheel drums, manual steering, manual brakes, auto trans. The car's only options i could find on the build sheet were radio delete, auto trans, wheel covers and rubber floor mat.

The car now has BBP disc brakes in front. The rear is BBP 8.75 3.55 sure-grip with the big truck brakes. The rims are late model 15in. ralleys. (jy score all 4 for 25$ with centers and rings vg shape)

The engine is balanced and blueprinted 360 (.30 over) stock compression, rv cam, eddy q-jet on eddy performer spreadbore intake. The intake and heads have been gasket matched. the motor has a windage tray, headers, 90 degree filter adapter, hv oil pump, internally regulated toyota alternator, msd distributor without vac. adv. and msd6a with accel super coil. The air cleaner is a mid 70's big block unit.modog769's 1968 Plymouth Valiant

The trans is a 727 that i got off cl real cheap it shifts hard !!  The torque converter is a factory hi-stall that came with the trans. the converter still had a rebuild sticker with date and paint on the flex-plate mount tabs. the driveline came out of a 2wd 84 ferd ranger 4spd. shortbox. It fit perfect. radiator and clutch fan are out of a 82 v-8 new yorker. It was a perferct fit also. The trans cooler is out of a chrysler mini-van. It too also fit perfectly (long and skinny full width of core support opening).

I spent a year gathering parts and six mons. putting it together. A lot of work. I know i forgot a bunch of small stuff (parts and fitting/fab) so i'll be adding to this later also some better pics (cameras a POS).
