I purchased this truck brand NEW! in 1991 with 214 miles, was able to fix it up (lower, tint, rims & tires, music, a camper, neon lights & 94 4runner front). Then after I made the the last payment....... the motor ran hot on me, got it fixed, then the motor locked up on me (in 98). Now its 11 yrs later and its time to rebuild it!

Pulled the motor out, during Spring Break (03/21/09)

Picked the block up - painted black [4 now], on Good Friday (04/10/09).

Picked up the heads - painted silver, friday (04/24/09)

ha yeah! now i gota get a new front pipe (exhaust) and w/e else is needed... truck is a loud bitchsnaz! Other than that, i'm slowly creeping along cosmetic wise

I bought my front end (grille, bumper, valance, bumper brackets) at a local junk yard. Not quite OE quality but new products, paid $245 for all.
