Cmon folks, vote for this car! Help me get on page 1 where I belong!

I encourage all Storm owners to visit my links, along with I-Mark, Impulse, and Elan owners to visit Isuzone. Or anyone who wants to learn more about these cars.

New pics!

It's hard to see, but its 170 whp and 165 wtq. The car needs some cams and a bigger d/p in order to make more top end power (the car makes constant power from 5500-7200) so there is room for improvement. Plus this is all on 7 psi of boost too. So hopefully I can see 200 whp soon.

Ever think that Frank on Stormowners is a jerk? Look at this PM to me to see who he really is

What's this? I finally got my turbo project done!

There ya go, my engine bay with the turbo, top mount intercooler, and my new oil filter relocation. I know the oil feed line isn't in, I was doing some minor repairs to the turbo when I took this pic.

There's an up close of the turbo itself. It is an IHI RHB5, which is also used on the T-Bird turbo coupe, the Mazda 323 GTX/Probe GT, and a few other Japanese cars. It's pretty close to a T25 as far as size goes. The manifold is off of an Impulse RS, as is everything else. Direct bolt-on thankfully.

Close up of my intercooler. Gotta love the chrome! Behind the battery you can see my custom CAI.

There's where I relocated my oil filter. This is neccessary to get a pressure source for the turbo feed.

There's the new RS rims on my car. 205/50/15. With Kuhmo Ecsta 712's They look nice and grip well enough.

I finally took her to the track tonight

All times are at 7 psi, weight is 2620 with me 3/4 of a tank and spare tire etc...

Best time
R/T .657
60 2.533
330 6.758
1/8 10.236
MPH 71.49
1000 13.189
1/4 15.713
MPH 89.50

Best MPH for the night was 89.89 with a time of 15.729.

My other runs
15.953@88.73
16.324@88.37
15.729@89.89
15.730@89.26

So I'm pretty proud of my times. With better launches I could get her down to a 15.5 I think if I can get a 2.3 60. So I'm going to try and get a 2.5 in d/p and turn the boost up to 10 I think a 14 is within reach.

Alright, enough pics and dry descriptions, how does it drive? Right now, its pretty damn quick, about on par with a stock DSM (turbo'd) or a V6 Altima. Right now the boost transition is very violent at 3000. The restrictive downpipe I've got on the car keeps boost from building well until 3000 where the car leaps forward like you got hit from behind. That same downpipe kills boost after shifts, but overall, it hauls. The surprising thing is that the car puts the power to the ground quite well, little to no wheelspin or torque steer. I think I need to turn the boost up. Also, the high compression makes throttle response, and power off boost quite good. Much better than other turbo cars I've driven, but the tiny turbo helps this out too.

My mods:
RS Turbo, Intercooler, injectors, ECU, DIS, CAS, downpipe, manifold, and 2 BAR MAP
Bill's 2.5 inch cat back
Custom Cold Air Intake
KYB GR-2 Struts
Isuzu Impulse rear disc conversion

Future Mods:
RS engine
AWD?
Robie's Coilovers
Sway bars
RS wheels
MBC
Intercooler fan or hood scoop
