D10078's 1978 Dodge D-Series Pick-UpD10078's 1978 Dodge D-Series Pick-Up

Here is what I have to work with.  It is a 1978 Dodge D100 Custom 2wd shortbed.  3 speed automatic and a 225 Slant 6 that deserves to be retired with honor.  Plans include a V8. It is by far cheaper to get a V8 VS. getting a rebuild kit.  As when it was last driven, it had a rod break. (What a sound while driving)  These picture were just a tune up to see if it was still free moving. (Not Frozen)  Been sitting since 2005.

Hey T.J. How are you? If you ever need help I am also here with Ryan. The three of us could bring this thing back to life. All you and Ryan ever talk about when you are in the same room is reviving this Mopar. I've got physical aspects of restoration, you are the brain, and Ryan is the problem solver. See you when you come up to C-Town.

that is my favorite year dodge truck! ive always like the lil red express but i HATE the stepside bed! that thing with a nice small block and viper seats with some mopar rallye wheels would look awesome! or better yet a big block! check mine out!

Thats a good truck to start with, I have an 89, if you get a chance stop by and look at mine and by the way you wouldn't by any chance know where I could find a set of center caps like that would you?

This truck will be a great build a healthy small block would be a good street motor the d series is popular so it should be an easy swap.

You should copy that stuff you mentioned on to your page,it's good progress!! If you need ideas on how to fix it up,just look around. There are a lot of really great trucks around here!!! Be sure to check out the W-series stuff too.
