This was the taken the night I bought it...It was covered in ice and was around 8o'clock at night! The guys at Greens Toyota Of Lexington, had it started up and ready to go for me, after we signed the papers for it of course.

My passion for 4Runners began when I returned from Iraq in 2006.  I started out with a 2nd Gen, it was a 1994!! I loved that 4Runner.  I had it for a little over a year and put about 10,000 miles on it.  I done a ton of mods on that bad boy! I pretty much had everything new on it, however it just didn't have enough power for me.  So, I knew it was time to let "Thumper" go!  My wife and I both have 4Runners now!  She drives a 2006 Sport Edition that is black like mine. She got her 4Runner first and two weeks later...She helped me get mine!

These pics were taken after the windows were tinted and before I got my lift put on. It usto sit pretty low...

Since I have had my 4Runner, I have done a few things to it.  It started with a Toytech Lift, with the 1in diff drop and the 890 Old Man Emu coil Springs for the back.  The reason i bought it was one cause i was wanting some ride height cause i was usto the height of my 94, and two I was going to put the rims and tires that I had on my 94. The 94 was running on a set of 17' Cruiser Alloy Canyons w/ 285/70/17s.  However, the didnt fit the off set was off, just a hair barely touching the upper A arm. So I had to let them go with the 94...(very sad!)  But it was all good. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I had the windows tinted to match all the way around and tinted the front windshield all the way down.  I also put the vent shades on and the sun roof wind deflector.  Then I painted the skid plate.

3" TOYTECH LIFT

Jerry Yeager of Redneck Customs in Barbourville Ky. installed my lift.

GOODYEAR DURATRAC 285/70/16

After i realized my wheels wouldn't fit the dude that was buying the truck from me, (very nice dude I may add. Oh by the way he drove 9 hours to pick up my 94 4Runner.  He gave me a extra 700 bucks for my wheels and tires...AWESOME GUY!!) So, with that money I went and picked up a set of Good Year Dura Tracs, 285/70/16s. I just stuck them on the factory sport wheels. They fit just barely.  I had to do a little trimming on the runner boards and thats bout it.  Only have about a 1/4 of an inch clearence in the back from my upper A arms, cutting it close but it looks real good.

The next things I decided to do was add in my JVC double den DVD player in the dash.  I didn't put any subs or amps in it though.  I am done with that stuff.  Plus i need the room in the back of my Runner to take my pit out and about.  Good choice i think...The only thing i am going to do audio wise is change up the componts. Probably will go with Memphis throughout.

Then I went ahead and started reading on Yotatech.com.  I am going to give a HUGE shout out to Bill, Rock Slide better non on yotatech.  For his amazing web page on his 2002 4Runner Sport.

"THUMPER 4" This is my 94' 4Runner! I have sold it! But Still gotta show it some love!! Plus my wife is in this picture!!! That's the real reason I love this picture!!

HERE IS A PIC OF HIS 4RUNNER

This guy is awesome!!  I have read all his write-ups and they are dead on.  I have completed these mods thanks to his site and knowledge.

Deck Plate Mod, Silencer Box Removal Mod, DRL Mod, and just completed the VSC/TRAC control mod better known as the Andy Mod, and have the parts on the way for the rear diff breather mod.

Great looking rig! I think I've seen you on YotaTech some haven't I? How are you liking the Duratrac's? I opted for the Kelly/Fierce Attitude M/T's from my Goodyear Dealer instead. Check out my rig sometime.

ha ha it gets the job done for what i need. its more about looking good, we use a 79 cj5 or an 03 f250 for the big time off roading or pulling boats

As long as you get an 80 sereies flowmaster it's not loud, it's when you go with a 40 series muffler, it's extremely loud, especially with our 3.4 V6's. The deckplate mod is simple and functional, as long as you get a removable cap that covers the hole, so when you go wheelin, water doens't get in, other than that it sounds and performs pretty well. Thanks for your comment
