This is my 1978 monte carlo i bought two years ago for 500 dollars when i was fifteen. Me and my dad went to New York to get it. There was no engine or dashboard and where the heater core was supposed to be there was a 1/4 in. thick sheet of steel covering the opening. The guy was going to make it a "race car." He also ripped the headliner out of the car. After we brought it home, it sat in my garage for 5 months until we had the time to work on it. We then bought a mint condition dash that luckily matched the interior. It is black with red and white interior, bucket seats, and console. After we got the dash in, we dropped in a 327 from a '68 corvette. The engine has 350 horses stock, plus it was bored 30 over, flat head pistons, edelbrock performer RPM intake, and an edelbrock 500 cfm carb. We also put edelbrock valve covers and an edelbrock air cleaner on it. As of right now, it still needs an exhaust from the headers back, the floor pans need redone, and the rear frame rails need replaced. Besides the frame rails, the car has no rust. It has its minor paint chips but cant complain for a 500 dollar car.
