The only problem was taking off the drums, because the park brake was still engaged!!

But after 2 hours of pounding, and bleeding knuckles they finally broke loose.

So my hood was non functioning, so with the new carb, I was wondrin how I could get more CFM's into

the engine, then I lookt into getin the Boss 429 Hood Scoop, which was a bit widder and taller, also

giving it a more aggresive look, Down below u c that I cut a whole in the hood and also added the

racing clips, primered the hood with Flat black, and then Finishded it off the Some Glossy paint.

that I purchased from a local Kragen store!!, Came out Clean!!!

Looks like it just came out of the paint booth!!, as you could c, I also fabd up my own grill, by

purshasing an identical front grill assembly, and cut it right down the middle so the lines

would match up nicely...lookin like it was supposed to be like that, But their isn't a grill sold

for boss 429 hood scoops.

Since I recently purchased a 1972 Mach 1 (August 09) I wanted to create a place where other Mach 1 owners had a place to call there own from around the world! I searched the net trying to find a place that was pretty much exclusive to the Mach 1 and found that there isn't any. What we hope to accomplish with this site is to have all available information and tech info for the Mach 1. There are a lot of Mustang websites on the internet but this is the place to gather all the Mach 1 information in one place! Come Join The Club! Mach1Club.com Please feel free to list your website on our site as well! SWEET MACH 1 BTW!!!

Wow, what a beautiful car! The '69-'72 Mach 1s are the best Mustangs ever built. Really like that paint job, and the hood you have is pretty sick! Very nice job under the hood as well, it looks good all chromed out with that cross bar going over it. Hope you have fun with it. 5 stars for sure, man!
