TINTPROS's 1988 BMW 7-SeriesTINTPROS's 1988 BMW 7-SeriesThis is the 1988 BMW 750IL with the stage 1 armour package.  It bares the M70 5.0 Liter V12 Engine and weighs in around a whopping 6000Lbs.  Even though the body is both bulky and heavy the 12 cylinder motor will get this monster moving quickly and the gas pedal feels like it just goes forever.  Since these cars are expensive and extremely hard to find parts for, most of the upgrades on "The BOSS"all had to be custom made.  The first thing I did was to completely overhaul the factory stereo and install a fully custom competition audio system.   A false-floor was installed in the trunk to flush mount the audio components and a Pro-Bandpass Subwoofer encloser was built in to the car.  The trunk is trimmed in the factory grey carpet, custom black leather, and black plexiglass.  Next came the lighting,  green neons and Led's were installed in various places in and outside the car and then followed by Krypton Green Headlights, Fog lights, and turn signals to complete the car's sinister look.  The Interior is black leather on grey carpet so the lights really bring it to life.   But now for the serious stuff.  Next the 18" BOSS Wheels were installed delivering both a stylish touch as well as increased performance and handling,  The steering and suspension were all updated with performance everything, the only thing that hasn't been done yet is lowering the car.  Then I swapped the brakes out with BREMBOs and added EBC green stuff pads for both increased stopping power and reduced brake dust.  Moving on I ordered M-TEC chips from Germany and after installing them I built a completely custom, Polished Stainless Steel. dual 2.5" performance exhaust system and also i built a pair of custom cold-air intakes.   Since i was on such a role I then continued on to adding some racing fuel injectors and a complete ACCEL ignition system.  I still have plans for more performance stuff but once all this was done I moved on to the body.  Originally the car was gloss black,  but it was all original and i need of serious attention.  So,  we straightend the entire body prepared it for paint and put on a nice thick even coat of the most expensive primer-sealer money can buy.  The idea was to paint it shiny black again but due to the overwhelming amount of positive feedback I choose to leave the matte black finish alone.  It really lets the tough and dominent nature of this car come out for all to see.   Finally, I added crystal clear headlight lenses, clear marker lights on both the front and rear bumpers, and smoked turn signals, completing the car's stealth and aggressive look.  The BOSS commands the respect of every other car on the road and with it's beautiful styling and the sound of that roaring V12 engine screaming up the highway it gets nothing less.
