Finally I got my Whale Penis intake in. I thought it was fiberglass but its thick abs plastic. Nice and light. Not as light as a fiberglass or CF one but lighter than the one I have now. Im gonna install it later, So Ill post pics of it installed.

 Today Chad installed my wrinkle red vlave cover....looks better than I thought it would. He was gonna switch out the driver-side brake drum but come to find out I have weird sized brake drums. I have 10" drums, instead of the 8-9" brake drums like other civics. Im gonna go by a junk yard tommorrow and see if I can pick up a inexpensive driver brake drum.

Well Im not gonna be able to drag race tomorrow. Im on probation so I have a 6pm curfew, and Street Wars at The Rock doesnt start till 5, so no running the drag slicks....grrrrr

 Update 7/12/09:

Today I purchased a set of M&H 13x9 Drag Slicks. I cant wait to run them at Phantasm Street Wars next Saturday (7-18-09). Ill post my times and kill stories !

Update 5/30/09:

Today we raced the civic for the first time at Rockingham Drag Strip. Chad raced either a '09 or '10 Gt Mustang and beat it by over a second!!!! I only ran a 14.7, but I beat everything I ran against.. My 14.7 run was against a fully built hard body Chevy S-10, cowl induction hood, and big ass drag radials, the thing was cam'n like a mofo !!! I beat him by 1.048 seconds !!!!!!! The whole day at the track she wouldnt go in reverse so it was a bitch if I went over the line for the lights, the track guys had to push me back. The reverse started working as soon as we left the track. The fucking used shift cables are stretched and made the synchro for 2nd gear go out so Second gear grinds now if ur get'n on it and trying to shift... Hopefully we'll get that fixed soon.. Check back later on in the week for more updates.

Update 5/22/09:

Today I drove my civic for the first time. Chad switched out the axel and she is running like a champ. Chad raced a Gt Mustang the other day, and kept up with him nose to nose. I did my very first burnout today.. All i can say about Posi traction is OMG!!!!! I left a 65-70ft posi trac. black mark ! It was great. All thats left to be done is the installation of my 96-00 sideskirts, MSD, and paint.... Ill post pics of the finished product as soon as she is done.

 Update 5/17/09:

We got the new motormounts installed about 2 weeks ago. The axels were still binding but not nearly as badly. My boy talked to another shop and found out that for my specific swap I needed 93-94 integra axels. So we got them in. Within the 15min of the axels being in one of them snapped. Defective or too much torque....we will never know? haha it was defective.

Update 4/27/09:

We came to the conclusion that the reason my axels are binding was because I had the wrong motor mounts..... Well today I ordered a set of AVID Eg H22 mounts from Blueridge Motorsports in Morganton NC... They should be in by friday. I wont be able to drag at Race Wars this Sunday.....but everything happens for a reason I guess.

Update 4/20/09:

We went to drive my car yesterday and it started shaking like it was having convulsions. Come to find out your car can be lowered way to low. Its making my axels bind up and shake. So Ive either got to raise the car to straighten the axels out....or get different motor mounts. Ill let y'all know of my findings.

 Update 4/17/09:

Chad got my motor and axels in. I stripped my valve cover and painted it wrinkle red like the Type S (Looks Sweet !).. I got to pick up oil, a filter, and antifreeze tomorrow to get her running. Ill take pictures tomorrow of the motor installed...BTW looks just like the pic with the header on my 2nd page minus the CF spark plug cover. Mine is stock silver.

Update 4/16/09:

My friend Chad started building my car today. Installing the ACT clutch. Should be rolling for sure by May 3rd for the Phantasm Race Wars. Will post pics as I take them......
