This is my 1974 Chevy Vega Hatchback. I purchased it from my dad for 300 bucks and a used ps2 that I bought for him at a game store. So far I have paid 100 bucks to tow it to my gramps shop from where it set. I have already replaced all four tires with new ones and spent close to a grand on parts to get it closer to running. I have the majority of the parts in the car waiting to be installed but I still have to find the odds and ends like missing brackets and bolts that the previous owners removed! It still sports the original 2.3 Sohc inline 4 cylinder. It came with the optional 2 barrel carb. The car is a automatic! It currenly doesnt run but it is a work in progress and shoud run real soon! Once its running im going to use it as a daily driver / Cruiser/ weekend bruiser but with 85 hp the only thing its gonna bruise is my ego when 16 and 17 Yr olds walk by me in their imports! As for my dreams for it I plan on building a 4.3 V6 to swap into it, bolting up some swaybars and throwing a set of Centerline wheels and some BFG tires on it! I want it to run and sound good but remain relatively low key have a little muscle car look to it you know being American and all but I want it to handle well and not be a drag car! Although I may take it to the strip occasionaly thats not the intentions I have for it its gonna be a cruiser and part time bruiser kinda of a do it all kinda setup! Well if you want to comment my car or have any opinions or info on V6 swaps and handling setups please feel free to comment me!
Me and my car before any work on it at all!
Rear shot of my Vega!

After I installed my Grant Wheel which weighed quite a bit less than the stock one!
The interior looks a little better with the Grant wheel! Cant wait till my Sunpro guages are mounted
